The new Nexio electricity meters are read remotely.
Gas meter reading
Gas meters are read on site every 3 months. Most gas meters in the Principality are located outside homes, so you do not need to be present. However, if your meter is located inside your home, your presence is required.
What happens if you're away and your meter is inside your home?
If you are away when our meter reader visits, you can take your own meter reading and report it directly by :

However, a reading must be taken by us at least once a year.
